CHANGE THE LOOK OF YOUR CURTAINS WITHOUT SPENDING MUCH
Here is a very easy and inexpensive way of changing the look of your house by adding colors to the curtains.
“Dupattas” (which are worn with salvaar kameez). There are hundreds of colors available in the market. Choose the colors you like..keep in mind to buy length same as your curtains. Use measuring tape to measure your curtain length. You need one dupatta each for one curtain
For example, this is how my curtains look.
You will require:
Measuring tape
Safety pins –around 7-8 for each curtain

Now remove the curtain and start pinning the dupatta neatly with the safety pins to the top of the curtains.

All the safety pins are in place now.
Put the curtain back and see the difference..

One dupatta will cost only around 50-60 rupees as compared to buying a new curtain for 300-400 rupees. So it proves to be really inexpensive. What more, you can keep changing the colors whenever you wish to. For festive seasons you can also try doing the same technique with old saris.
