MAKING ARTIFICIAL FLOWERS(roses) WITH ORGANDI CLOTH- PART 1

MATERIALS REQUIRED
Organdi cloth
– it’s a stiff cotton cloth. It is available in most of the cloth stores. Around half metre of this cloth can be used to make 4 flowers. Cost is around 15 Rs for half a metre
Plastic pollens – available in craft shop or shops which have beads, threads etc. they come in many different colors. A contrasting color to the flower petal color should be taken. For example, if you are buying red organdi cloth for petals, then white or yellow pollen will look good. Cost is around 5 Rs per piece.
Green tape – for covering stem. Also available in the crafts shop. Cost is around 10-20 Rs per piece.
Stem wire – 10 Rs per piece.

METHOD
First we need to cut paper templates which will be used to cut the cloth so that all the flowers are of the same size.
Three paper squares need to be cut.
1. large – 10 cm by 10 cm
2. medium – 8cm by 8cm
3. small – 6cm by 6cm

Now using the paper square templates cut the cloth. 3 pieces of the large size, 3 of medium size and 4 of the small size.
