MAKING ARTIFICIAL FLOWERS (roses) – PART 2
FOLDING OF CLOTH SQUARE PIECES
Take one end and fold it a little bit more than the midline.
Take the other end and fold it overlapping around 1 cm over the first fold
Now fold along the midline as shown
It will look like this after folding.
Now take 1 end and curl it with your finger and thumb.
Curl the other end too so that it looks like a petal.
Petal is ready after folding.
Do the same for all the pieces except for one small piece.( the 6 cm one)
Fold this simply along the midline.
Now take around 20 cm of the stem wire. You can cut it using plier.
Fold it in the midline and pass the pollens( around 4 -5 ) through it.
Intertwine the rest of the wire. It will look like this.
Now the extra piece that had been folded in half has to be wrapped around the wire and pollen.
After wrapping it tightly, put some fevicol to stick it firmly. It’s a good idea to tie it with a thread of the same color as the petals.
